Giacomo spent three weeks in Portsmouth as an intern for the local newspaper. He is very interested into sports journalism and before going to university this autumn, he wanted to get a practical experience in a foreign country.
His tutor at work placement left a fantastic feedback about the experience with the young and enthusiastic Italian student:
“Giacomo has been a tremendous asset during his time with us. Because we are in the process of moving into new premises and currently have to work from an office at home, arrangements have had to be flexible with regard to working routines and he could not have been more helpful or adaptable. He has been tackling a range of editorial tasks, from production to interviewing and writing up reports and his attitude has been faultless. Giacomo is a credit to his family, his school and, most importantly, himself. We would be pleased to have him back at any time.”
We wish the best of luck to Giacomo for his future! It has been a pleasure!
