What is the Turing Scheme?

The Turing Scheme is the UK government’s scheme to provide funding for international opportunities in education and training across the world. It supports UK organisations from higher education, further education, vocational education and training and schools’ sectors to offer their students, learners, and pupils life-changing experiences to study or work abroad.

Why participate?

The Turing Scheme is a possibility for schools, colleges and higher education institutions to build on and forge new relationships worldwide through fully-funded placement programmes. Receiving funding to study or carry out a work placement abroad will help participants develop transferable skills, gain vital international experience, and broaden their horizons. They will develop cultural awareness and become more open-minded.

It will also be a great addition to their CV, helping them to stand out in the global job market and boost their employability. Students, pupils, and learners will return more motivated, independent, and confident, having improved their language skills and gained an international network of friends.

The Turing grant cover all expenses – as an institution, you pay £0 to send your students and staff abroad!
Also, our fee comes from the grant – we will not charge you!
