What is an Erasmus+ Work Placement?
An Erasmus+ work placement is a funded period of professional experience in a real workplace abroad. Students are matched to an employer in their field, work alongside permanent staff with genuine daily responsibilities, and live with a host family for the duration.
Placement programmes can run from 14 days to 6 months or more.
Each participant returns home with real professional experience on their CV, a level of English they could not have gained in a classroom, and friendships that last long after the placement ends.
