Our experience with IBD has found that the student’s standard of English has been good which has enabled them to undertake and help us with all manner of tasks and projects from accompanying staff on inspections to creating student information pamphlets and property adverts. Their enthusiasm to learn about our business and practices as well as teach us about their own has been refreshing and always brings a bit of energy to our office.

Mikael has been a valuable addition to our team, contributing very positively to the operation of the charity. He is a very likeable individual with a great sense of humour. In the short time he has been here, he has made a big impression and will be welcome to return.

Hey everyone at IBD! Exactly one year ago, I came to Portsmouth and I just can’t believe that time’s gone by so fast ever since. I just wanted you guys to know how much I’ve enjoyed my work experience and also…thanks again for your support and efforts back then. This October, I started studying tourism. It is a very small university of cooperative education but they’ve got quite a good reputation. A lot of my fellow students also passed an apprenticeship but most of them had no chance to go abroad, so I really appreciate the chance I had. Unfortunately, we won’t have English classes until the 4th semester. Guess, it won’t be too hard to keep up with it till then, though.

I hope you still have tons of fun with your students. And those guys we had dinner with in Oxford were right…you can’t find a decent Indian restaurant in Germany.

Stefi has been a pleasure to have in our company and although the time went really fast, we enjoyed having her positive can do attitude and she did everything we asked of her. We wish her all the very best.

I just want to say thank you again for the opportunity to do the work experience with you. I had a really great time in the UK and I am looking forward to visit Portsmouth again!

IBD have always been fantastic in placing great and hardworking work experience students. The support they provide is excellent, giving us great flexibility which we need for our working environment. I would also like to add that Michelle and the team have always been very friendly and have always worked in a very professional manner with myself and my team.

Very professional! I am simply impressed of that how they work, their culture, good communication… only the best! The organisation is perfect, there is nothing missing. I‘m impressed and also about the city too, architecture is awesome, people are educated, cultural and polite.

Here you can’t be bored, anytime you have something what to do and what to see. Before I came here, I didn’t like a chicken, but now I love it, and with tea is the same, but I don’t like the tea with milk. You are welcome in Macedonia at any time, when you like.

And yes, the main thing, I love them; they gave me a present for Easter – so lovely! I’ll be back!!

IBD have been supplying us with students for our work placements for over two years. We have always found the students to be responsive to carrying out projects and tasks. They always integrate well with our workers. You have no worries as IBD manage the whole visit from start to finish. We will be continuing to work with IBD in the future.

Hello IBD Team! I just want to say thank you for the nice July in Portsmouth. I was the last weeks in France. I hope I can come back to the UK sun.

We have been working with IBD for the last year. Our first student was Bastian who was an Interior Design Student. His work ethic was incredible and during the seven weeks that he was with us he used the skills that he learnt from me and took ownership of his duties. I trusted him enough to put him in charge of various projects.

All of the students have proven to be a valuable asset to my company and special mention should be made to Daniel from the Czech Republic, he had a level of technical understanding that made him standout. I would have been more than happy to have employed him permanently.
